Programming between Easter and May 1st at the Parco della Maremma

The Easter period  is approaching and at the Maremma Park many events are planned for everyone, young and old.

The calendar of events from 20 April to 1 May is very rich at the Parco della Maremma, to best accommodate the visitors who will take advantage of the numerous days to spend their holidays in Maremma.

All the itineraries are open and passable without a guide; the Talamone Aquarium is also open and the bus line runs to the Marina di Alberese beach, where parking will also be in operation.

But let’s see in detail all the initiatives:

Saturday 20, Monday 22, Friday 26 April and May 1, in front of the Visitor Center of Alberese (via del Bersagliere 7/9) will return the Farmers Market of the Maremma Park, a real opportunity to buy excellent products at Km0 .

Easter Monday, April 25th and May 1st are scheduled canoe trips at sunset on the Ombrone river organized by the Cooperative La Silva.

On April 25, the Bridge over the Ombrone, recently inaugurated and the protagonist of cycling mobility between Grosseto and the Maremma Park, will be one of the places touched by the bicycle tour organized by the Cooperative delle Orme. A ride that starting from Grosseto, passing the bridge, will have as its goal the suggestive Collelungo beach.

The day will gain added value thanks to the explanations of the peculiarities of the protected area by the environmental-hiking guide who will accompany the cyclists throughout the journey.

From Saturday 20 to Wednesday 1 May the Talamone aquarium will be open to the public, from 9 am to 1 pm, a way to let young and old know the typical species of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Talamone aquarium, in fact, despite being a small structure, has tanks, which describe the main habitats found in the Mediterranean, a collection of shells collected on our beaches and interactive paths that make it an extraordinary environmental education tool , information and awareness on the problems of the sea.

At Easter the new itinerary of Talamone will also be viable, which passes in front of the ancient Roman cistern recently restored.

In the same period the Info Park in Marina di Alberese will also open from 10 am to 5 pm and, in addition, the guides of the Cooperative Le Orme and La Silva will be located in the Park area available to visitors.

On the website of the Parco della Maremma www.parco-maremma.it, in the section “how to reach us”, all the useful information is available, including the timetables of Line 17 that from Alberese leads to Pinottolai, where many itineraries start, and to the beach of Marina di Alberese.

Moreover, at the Antico Frantoio del Parco, at the visitor center, you can visit for free, the Lisarte exhibition, characterized by works made of papier-mâché, beaten metals and wood, a real opportunity to learn about the creations of this Maremma artist.
