Saturday 3 November -> The Pirates and the Towers of the Maremma Park

The hills of the park are rich in history and, still today, on some of them stand out charming and fascinating buildings. Along an itinerary of about 12 kilometers, together with a guide, expert connoisseur of the path, we will go to discover two of the coastal watch towers that were built centuries ago to control the arrival of the pirates.

The excursion lasts about 6 hours and is considered of medium difficulty.

The appointment is at the Alberese visitor center at 9.00.

The cost of admission to the Park is 10 € (reduced for students € 5) and the guided tour is free.

Sunday, November 4 -> The legendary treasure of San Rabano

On the Uccellina mountains there are the remains an ancient Benedictine abbey, a sacred and at the same time mysterious place. Many stories are told about this place, but the most fascinating story tells of an incredible treasure that nobody has been able to find today. During this excursion, an expert guide will tell you about the mysteries and legendary tales that circulate about San Rabano and its treasure.

The excursion lasts about 4 hours and is considered of medium difficulty.
